Weight Loss; Reduce belly fat and other Unnecessary Fats through Lemon/Lime Juice

Hello People....for you to be here means you're actually trying to lose weight or maybe you just want to figure out how this process works. Better still, you're here for a friend.
This post is a natural way to losing way, it only needs you to be steadfast and patient and it works like magic!
If you're looking for the healthiest and most efficient way of losing weight with no possible consequences, also imbibe the advice of a  professional trainer and dietitian. 

Before you continue, it's best to avoid fizzy drinks, junks and include a routinized exercise(cardio especially). This just helps you to see a faster and long-lasting results. To see how the effects of lemon or lime juice helps in weight loss read below;

Let me draw your attention to this, if you want this to work, replace your daily sugary drinks or beverages with lemon juice, you can't keep doing your old habits and expect a greater effect.

Lemon/Lime Juice
Things you'll need include;

  • Fresh lemons/limes
  • Sharp knife
  • a juicer(not necessary, you can do it manually and remove the seed later) 
  • Fresh water(hot or cold...people tend to believe that hot water workers faster, that may not be true but it sure increases the metabolism faster)
  • a jar/ reusable bottles
  • mint leaves(this is optional)
  • Mug/Glass/Cup...whatever you drink with


 LEMON or LIME WATER
Lemon and Lime water can be produced using similar processes. I would use lemon in writing, just know that it stands for both.
You can achieve this in different ways,
First, cut the lemons into slices, add a few slices into a mug of hot/cold water. If you don't like the idea of slices in your drink, you can always use your juicer or squeeze half a lemon into the mug/glass/cup of water. You should drink this first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and the last thing before you go to bed. You can also take it whenever you drink water. However, it's best to replace your sugary drinks with this.

Second way of during this is by drinking a glass or more of lemon water before each meal. This helps to keep you satiated and help you in eating small portions. Being hydrated is  a necessity to achieving weight loss and help in detoxification by the kidney. Also helps to boost metabolism.


Third way is a routine I really don't like but I end up doing it anyways, especially when I'm tired to squeeze cos I do mine manually. I put my lemon slices into a jar filled with ice cubes and half a cup of water. I also add mint leaves to this(I stopped cos I find it difficult walking to the shop nearby to buy some....remember, I'm lazy or maybe tired is the better word) Sometimes, I add other fruits including lime to this mixture. I allow this to stand for hours, when the ice cubes are melted, I pour some for myself. Most times, I add cold water to it and still drink it. It's more of recycling...I don't have the patience to wait for hours

Benefits of Lemon&Lime Water 
  • Rich source of Vitamin C; this vitamin help in weight loss by either regulating the stress hormone(cortisol) which helps to store fat especially in the abdominal area or helps burn the already stored fats
  • Vitamin C also helps in calcium absorption in fat cells
  • Vitamin C helps to boost immunity
  • Helps in reducing bloating
  • Helps in detoxification, a natural diuretic
  • Natural antioxidant
  • Aids in Cleansing

PS; it's not wise for people who have acid reflux/heartburn, ulcer or untreated kidney/gallbladder disease to partake in this as condition may worsen.
It's best to take acidic beverages through a straw to avoid enamel erosion. Also bear in mind that too much ingestion of this fluid may cause stomach upset and may lead to dehydration due to diuretic function of lemon. This is why it's advised to dilute with water

Please, remember that for you to see effective results, you must have to stop or reduce your intake of sugary beverages and be on a healthy diet. You must also workout at least thrice in a week, do more of cardio! If you don't follow these rules, you would still lose weight but it won't be as effective as it would have been if you followed these rules.
